Bears in desperate need of a wide receiver, sign Marty Booker to a 2 year deal. Booker, originally a third-round pick of the Bears in the 1999 draft, was traded to the
Dolphins in 2004 in the deal that brought defensive end
Adewale Ogunleye to Chicago. Booker, 32 on July 31, joins an unproven receiving corps that includes
Devin Hester and
Mark Bradley. The Bears lost their top receivers from last year, with Berrian going to the Vikings and
Muhsin Muhammad getting released and signing with the
Panthers. Look for Booker to be the bears #1 reciever this year unless a miracle happens.
